During this 5-week program, you’ll teach English as a second language in Thai schools while exploring Thailand’s history and comparing it to other countries in the region to gain a deeper understanding of the educational system, Thai identity, and the country’s navigation of colonial and imperial influences.
You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in university classes, meet other education students, and attend lectures by local professors. Beyond the classroom, you’ll travel and explore Thailand to enrich your appreciation of its culture and society.
The program emphasizes developing independence, professional skills, and reflecting on the American education system and your university experience.
