For our Italy Teach Abroad Program, you’ll spend 8 weeks teaching in a public school in either Verona or Genoa. These cities offer rich historical and cultural experiences, and you’ll have the chance to engage with Montessori and Reggio Emilia teaching methods.
The program includes participating in training sessions with local universities, where you’ll interact with other education students and professionals . You’ll teach English as a second language and also observe and assist in various classrooms.
This program is designed to provide valuable international teaching experience while deepening your understanding of Italian educational practices and exploring the countryโs history and culture.

This extended stay allows for a deeper appreciation of the region’s rich maritime history, delicious cuisine, and captivating scenery. Verona offers a rich blend of cultural and historical experiences. You can explore Juliet’s House from “Romeo and Juliet,” enjoy opera at the Roman Verona Arena, and take weekend trips to the scenic Lake Garda.
